Here at Grace Counseling, we’ve built our business by leveraging evidence-based programs designed to teach clients skills to get free from addiction. Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) are one of the most effective ways to get free from addiction. In our IOP and partial hospitalization programs (PHP), we embrace the Matrix Model, which has been proven to be one of the most effective treatments for addicts focused on developing new skills.
Types of Addiction Treatment Programs
There are several addiction treatment programs clients can choose from at Grace Counseling, including:
- Intensive outpatient program: IOPs are frequently used to treat addiction and mental health disorders. It is perhaps best designed for individuals who need a structured treatment program to heal but can’t afford to take time away from their families, work, or school that is usually required by inpatient programs. Individuals get high-quality addiction treatment but in a condensed form, allowing them to experience as little disruption as possible in their daily lives.
- Partial hospitalization program for Adults: PHP programs are more structured than intensive outpatient programs. However, they operate in a very similar way. Clients come to our facility for treatment scheduled around their calendar. However, they then return home after treatment, as in IOP.
- Partial hospitalization program for Adolescents: Teens have different needs than adults and can experience very different substance abuse issues. Therefore, Grace Counseling offers a unique PHP program exclusively serving adolescents. Here, teens can get the treatment they need to heal and recovery while still meeting their family and educational obligations.
- Adolescent addiction treatment: Teens and young adults suffer severe impacts both mentally and physically from substance abuse that adults don’t. This is because adolescents are still developing when drug or alcohol abuse occurs. When they attempt to recover from addiction, they need specific support to help them return to health and develop or re-develop the life skills and emotional awareness necessary to function smoothly in society.
